About The Club

Since 1960, West Side Swim Club has been a cornerstone of summer life on Madison’s west side. Tucked at the corner of Whitney Way and Odana Road, WSSC is a place where Madison families come to cool off, connect, and make the kind of memories that last a lifetime. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed afternoon in the water or a competitive outlet for your young swimmer, you’ll find a warm welcome here.

What sets West Side Swim Club apart isn’t just the water — it’s the people. WSSC has always prided itself on a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere where everyone belongs, from the newest Madison family to those who’ve been coming here for generations.

The West Side Dolphins
WSSC is home to the West Side Swim Club Dolphins, a proud member of the Madison All-City Swim League — one of the oldest and most storied recreational swim leagues in the region. The All-City Swim Meet draws over two thousand competitors from across the greater Madison area each year, making it one of the largest outdoor amateur swim meets in the country. Whether your child is racing for the first time or chasing a personal best, the Dolphins are a wonderful way to build confidence, friendships, and a love of the sport.
