Head Coach
Lucca Pulvermacher is super excited to be back for her 6th year of coaching at West Side Swim Club and her 3rd year as head coach! She was also the assistant coach of the West High School girls swim team for 3 years. Before becoming a coach she swam for West Side for 12 years, and has also swam for BAC and West High School. She is currently an elementary school teacher at Orchard Ridge in Madison.Coaches
Genevieve Martinez My name is Genevieve Martinez, and I am so excited to be coaching again this year! I am currently finishing up my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at UW–Madison and hope to be a Spanish teacher next fall. I began my swimming journey here at West Side the Best Side Swim Club and swam for West High School, MAC, and Grinnell College along the way. This is my third year coaching at Westside, but I have also coached for MAC and the Grinnell Tigersharks. Fun fact: My favorite stroke is breaststroke, and I lived in Spain for a year!
Alex Byrnes My name is Alex and this is my 2nd year assistant coaching at west side, I swam all city for 13 years and 10 at west side. I just got done taking a gap year living in Colorado and I will be attending Northern Michigan University in the fall! I am super excited to continue having fun and developing swimmers at the wonderful West Side Swim Club!Henry Coleman 
is very excited to begin his first summer coaching for the West Side Swim Club! Prior to coaching, he swam at West Side for 11 years, in addition to West High School and MAC. He is very grateful to get the opportunity to coach the very team that made him fall in love with swimming. Henry is currently an undergraduate student at UW–Madison studying Mechanical Engineering.
